Dan is happily married to his wife Julie (Vlasie) Flaherty, BSN, RN, CLC. The two met when they were in middle school and have been inseparable ever since. Their sons, Finn, Henry, and William are their greatest joys. Julie is a registered nurse, certified lactation consultant, and has graduate coursework in psychiatric nurse practitioner programs.
